A Busy 20 Year Old Says Hello

So as you can read from the title I’m extremely busy. In fact I have exactly fifteen minutes to write the annual birthday blog. I had many wishes come true and a great time. I wish I had more time though. This year was once again a collection of differences. Last year I had this amazing surprise waiting for me at school and this year I didn’t. As much of a small disappointment that was to me, by Saturday it was forgotten. I think as I realize that as an OFFICAL ADULT; I know it is scary to think about, but I guess I understood that this is what life has in store for me. To be mature no matter how many disappointments may face you. Like the fact that your supposed best friend doesn’t even wish you a happy birthday, maybe she is busy or something else, but that is a disappointment I don’t think anyone can just ‘get over’.

Despite that last little blow to my heart I had a fabulous birthday. I got lots of money which I so desperately needed and some fun stuff that I wanted. Jordan got me a Paramore tee that I absolutely ADORE! The events of Saturday made it one of the best birthdays I have had in awhile. I think 20 is my year! It started off with a great day of sleeping in until ten. Woke up and watched some episodes of The OC. I clean myself up of Friday night nineteen and wore my new dress that I made. Jordan had to do a few things so I watched some more OC until he was ready to hang. I got the Paramore t-shirt and a great cup of coffee at the Caribou. Dinner was fabulously fun at Granite City, the food was ok, but the atmosphere made it fun. The conversation with family and friends was a joyful experience. Later I got home and it was raining. I was worried that it would ruin my bonfire plans, but alas it did not. My dad and the boys ended up fashioning a plastic tent type thing. Nate and Josh came over; it was so exciting to have my own private Falling For Fallacies concert for my birthday. It was definitely a great birthday gift. Lauren and Travis came rounding out the party. We had smores and ate gummy worms. It was definitely a night to remember. I had tons of fun.

My time is cutting short so I must say goodbye. Good bye to nineteen and hello to 20. Thank you everyone who made my 20th birthday so very special.
