Today was one of the most amazing days. A day where the air was warm and the feelings were light. It is rare to have a day like this in the month of May; the temperature reaching well into the 90’s. Today felt like another miracle. It was another finale another American Idol has been crowned.
I feel kind of sad that he hasn’t gotten as much attention in my blog as the previous idol, but he will always be one of my favorite idols. He had me when he sang Make You Feel My Love. In that moment I knew that he was the truest voice of this year. He is going to be my artist for June. However what is his name?

Why it can only be that of the one legendary Kris Allen!
I reach this moment with extreme excitement, but also slight sadness. It is time for the current American Idol I supported for so many months to pass his crown. I will always love David Cook and his music. His experience last year made me believe in American Idol again and allowed the new months of support for my next Idol to bloom. I feel so very blessed to have voted for him last year and even more blessed to get to vote for Kris Allen this year. I know that the power of voting and love works in the world of Hollywood. David Cook and I should be proud to pass along the title to Kris.
I can sense Kris is an amazing person and I have never met him. Like the previous idol he is extremely talented and humble. He is kind and generous. He believes in good things and encourages good things. This makes me so very happy. So I wish a plethora of good blessings and thoughts to my second favorite American Idol KRIS ALLEN! I apologize that it isn't #1, but that spot I think will always belong to David Cook. Never forget the battle of the Davids.
Other than the amazing idol experience (I still can’t believe it has already been a year! I will have to check out that blog and I think you should too.) I had an amazing day hanging with Amanda, Jordan, Nate, Lauren, and Cole.
It started with Jordan and I going over to Amanda’s beachfront house. We hung around and enjoyed the amazing weather. The sun and the warm summer air made this the best day I have had in a long time. Later we had a delicious dinner of macaroni and cheese with ham and then Nate and Lauren came over and enjoy the summer night with us. We enjoyed the twilight until 8:55pm. It was because of my nerves that I couldn’t watch Idol tonight, even sadly missing David Cook’s performance (yes I am ashamed, he has not be replaced). However we went into the house just in time to see the new and true American Idol be crowned and sing his victory song. It was remarkable and I freaked out for about 20 minutes after until I couldn’t freak anymore. Later we went for pie with Cole and Amanda.
Well I should get going it is almost 3:30am! Don’t become Heartless all you Adam Lambert fans. Kris Allen won fair and square. That’s right teeny boppers, Achie and Adam lost! I wonder how many teeny youtube videos will be on this time with young girls screaming in disgust. It doesn’t matter because KRIS ALLEN WON! The underdog has defeated the giant.
